Embedding Innovation within SMEs

Embedding Innovation within SMEs is a UK national outreach project being carried out by Salford University, Lancaster University and Anglia Ruskin University.

Collaborative project

Dr Michael Zhang, ESRC Senior Research Fellow in the Centre for Enterprise is the Project Manager and is conducting an evaluation of this outreach project: “This is a great opportunity to work closer with other universities, and is a real collaborative project. Outreach enterprise activity has been somewhat overlooked and understated, and this project allows us to broaden the area of academic enterprise.”

Progress so far includes the development of a conceptual paper which was presented recently at a research conference organized by Lancaster University Management School.
