Graduates are facing tough times. The current recession has had an impact on graduate employment opportunities at a time when the largest ever cohort of students prepares to graduate.
Eight North West universities are working together to address this issue, and have been awarded European Social Funding to deliver a pilot project to area graduates and final year students about to enter the job market. The Centre for Enterprise is leading this project for MMU and, working with MMU’s Careers and Employability Service, is delivering a vast range of activities to help our graduates achieve their dream careers.
Our activities include:
Upcoming ESF Events
Graduate 2 Work
Employability Links
Build Your Brand
This workshop will enable you to discover your unique selling points and market yourself to achieve your dream job. This event is upcoming in the autumn.
Employers on Employability
We aim to determine what employers really need, and want, from graduates. If you are an employer with experience of graduate recruitment we would love to hear from you. This event will be a workshop and networking format, and is upcoming in the autumn.
If you are a student or graduate that took part in MMU's Talent Plus programme, we would love to hear from you to find out if the programme worked for you, if we can help you further and if you would like to share your employment experiences.
We are keen to work with as many employers and graduates as possible, and are always interested in new ideas. Please contact our project leader, Jennie Shorley, on 0161 247 6736 or email her at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)
