Jonathan has a background in managing major regional programmes of support for SME’s, helping them to address business issues, improve and grow. He has directed LEAD programmes since the inception of the initiative; he has led a North West Business Mentoring offering and has developed a wide range of other courses and interventions.

Jonathan has a passion for learning and development, focusing his approach on what small businesses know they really need, not what others think they ought to want. The initiatives he leads are founded on creating innovative learning spaces where peer to peer interaction and personal reflection can be nurtured to achieve clear business benefits. Building trusted and durable bonds between and with participants, Jonathan facilitates organisational and personal improvements, whilst supporting the business leaders through the difficulties of making change.
Prior to joining the Centre Jonathan worked for many years in a major educational charity in the North West and as an FE lecturer.
