Public and third sector organisations now have to operate in new ways, developing business solutions to support core services.  This provides new challenges. To help with this process, the Centre provides short courses, consultancy and links into masters and doctoral awards for those involved in business development and engagement. 

Short courses and consultancy include:

• Relationships and the rules of engagement, working successfully with the private sector
• Developing a strategy for business development
• Developing an enterprise culture
• Developing a business process to commercialise products and services
• Entrepreneurial business engagement in HE & FE (Exploring and capitalising on your resource base)
• Embedding enterprise into the curriculum
