Support for entrepreneurs and business start up

The team seeks to engage would-be entrepreneurs in enterprising activities and support those who have made the leap into business start-up.

Innospace

MMU’s business incubator provides graduates and current students with office space, business support and a network of entrepreneurs in which to launch a business. A low-cost alternative to City Centre office space, the initiative has so far signed-up over 200 businesses and has seen many successful companies ‘graduate’ from the unit. Raw 2010

We are a leading partner supporting the Raw 2010 community to bring together the top 350 entrepreneurs in the North West along with 15 of the world’s best speakers to listen, learn, collaborate and move the region forward. See Lynn Martin talk about our involvement here

Flying Start

This NGCE-funded initiative is aimed at supporting graduates or current students through the journey of initial business idea, to launch and then for up to five years. The project provides online support, workshops and training events designed to help students and graduates realise their entrepreneurial idea. Find out more at www.flyingstartonline.com.

Enterprise Champion

The Enterprise Champion Initiative is again funded by the NCGE. It aims to increase the number of new ventures and businesses started by graduates through scaling up the engagement in enterprise learning and support opportunities across the university campus.
